SecureMatrix Technologies Inc was founded in 2007 as a reseller of physical security systems for commercial office towers in Calgary. Prior to 2007, the owner of the company spent 10 years in the IT industry selling IT systems to strategic corporate accounts. With his IT background and experience selling physical security systems to large building owners in Calgary, he soon realized that most of the existing large buildings and facilities he visited did not have a converged network backbone to run all the building systems and IOT devices, making it very difficult for the building operations team to diagnose, manage and support the building systems.
Since 2013, SecureMatrix's mission has been to educate building owners, consultants, electrical engineers and all trades involved in the new construction industry about the benefits of a converged network backbone for an integrated smart building system. We specialize in the design, implementation and support of converged networks for new construction smart building systems and enterprise IT networks. All our engineers are certified and have years of experience in network specialization such as routing, switching, security and wireless.
